Monthly Meeting Topics

All rabbit meetings will be held at

 Podunk Farm Resources at 99 Main St.

 in South Windsor.

November:   Dinner time...What my rabbit eats.  What is in my pellets?  Why do I need hay?  Does my rabbit need salt and minerals?  Can my rabbit have fruit, veggies and other treats?

January:   Rabbit diseases...symptoms, treatment and prevention. (bring your first aid kits, we will be adding to them)

February:    Parasites.  What are they?   Where do they come from?  Does my rabbit have them?  How do I treat for them?

March:  A.R.B.A. what is it?  When, where, why and how's of showing at ARBA shows.

April:  Breeding your rabbit.  Who to breed?   why to breed?  Why not to breed?  What do I need to know first?

May: Rabbit Hopping:  You saw it at the fair...It looks like fun...How to train your rabbit to do it. (guest speaker) 

June:  Rabbit Body Parts ,  Rabbit Quizbowl- How to improve your showmanship skills

July:  Showmanship, showmanship, showmanship.

August:  Tolland County 4H Fair
